I’ve been making video games for nearly 20 years, and every day’s a school day. Since going independent in 2013 I’ve made three games and I’m currently working on my largest project to-date: Maenhîr, a top-down, 3D Zelda-clone, roughly in the style of Link Between Worlds [3DS].
I’ve always enjoyed sharing my work on social media, so now I’m writing weekly posts about my progress, as well as making monthly Development Vlogs on YouTube.
Emails will vary from technical deep-dives — if I think I’ve done something interesting — to day-by-day design musings. Where possible, I’ll include screenshots, gifs, and even little videos, to give you a “behind the scenes” view of what’s involved in making a modern video-game.
